Castle Rock and life along The Front Range

If you’ve ever spent any time in Castle Rock, or traveled along Colorado’s Front Range, you understand why residents of this community have a special feeling about Thanksgiving.

We celebrate that vibe every day.

From the majestic views of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains, to being part of a small, yet vibrant town just 30 minutes from downtown Denver, there is so much to be thankful for.

Castle Rock is one of the fast growing towns in America, but as the community expands, there’s no chance of losing our hometown feel. One of the most welcoming community events takes place on Saturday Nov. 23. The Castle Rock “Lighting of the Star” has been a community event shared by residents dating back to 1936. The event always attracts thousands of families, who celebrate the season with music, fireworks and much more.

Castle Rock businesses and residents will celebrate the Starlighting event at Historic Wilcox Square  from 2 PM to 7 PM. The fun will include  hot chocolate, strolling entertainers, live entertainment and of course Santa will be present for photos and visits. This year our ceremony emcee is Corey Rose, 9NEWS Anchor.

As you can see, Castle Rock is an ideal place to raise a family or start a business. It’s a place for thought leaders, innovators and anyone who knows that life is filled with boundless opportunities. This is an inviting spot for those seeking a new experience and adventure.

Thankful, blessed and fortunate are the words that come to mind to anyone who lands in Castle Rock. We’re thankful, because this small community has so much. This is a business friendly location that understands value of a clean and pristine environment. This town is a recreation lovers paradise that offers endless outdoor fun at the $22 million-plus, 270-acre Philip S. Miller Park and Miller Activity Center – the largest park project in the town’s history.

Those who like to stay fit have much to enjoy. Castle Rock is home to numerous city parks. It is also home to some of the state’s best golf courses and hiking trails.

It’s also a place for parents who seek to educate their kids amid some of the best schools in Colorado.

Castle Rock is a town of many fortunes, which include  locally owned boutiques in Castle Rock’s historic downtown.

While Castle Rock has an abundance of attractions for families, investors and new business, it also is home to one of Colorado’s most forward-thinking development projects.

An urban village is being crafted here as the Miller’s Landing Project marches to completion. The 65-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Castle Rock will include hospitality, entertainment, retail and office possibilities, is one of the most exciting projects in Colorado.

The entire team behind the Miller’s Landing project sends out a great thanks to everyone who has taken part in this transformative endeavor. From out investors to the great town of Castle Rock, we can’t wait to make you proud.

“We’re thankful to be operating in one of the greatest communities in America,” said Shawn Temple, Managing Director of the Miller’s Landing project. “Every day at work is a joy. Not only because we have so many amazing vistas to inspire the development, but because we know our project will fit perfectly with this environment and the people who will work, live and thrive here.”

Team Miller’s Landing wants each and all to enjoy the best Thanksgiving ever. Let’s be thankful for all we have, and all that will be in one of Colorado’s greatest communities.
