Hospitality at Work Programs Pay Dividends
At Miller’s Landing we are committed to creating positive, productive work environments. That’s why we’ve partnered with Hospitality at Work (H@W) to provide an unrivaled customer service experience at our new 150,00 square-foot office building.
Miller’s Landing in Castle Rock, CO, is one of Southeast Denver’s newest and most innovative mixed-use commercial developments. We’re creating a dynamic town center that includes offices that meet new normal standards, exciting retail and restaurant options, a resort hotel, conference and meeting space, ample open space and easy access to one of the region’s leading outdoor recreation park.
Castle Rock is a growing and popular south Denver suburb located on the I-25 corridor. It’s consistently rated as one of the best places to live and locate a business in Colorado. It offers a charming small-town atmosphere with easy access to big city amenities in nearby Denver.
Creating Positive and Productive Work Environments
Our new multi-tenant building will offer innovative working spaces. The building will feature a modern HVAC system that provides a healthy indoor office environment that meets new normal standards. Abundant natural lighting and an interior lighting system that maximizes health and productivity will provide office users with versatile office spaces that meet modern health and safety demands in the era of COVID-19.
Yet it takes more than modern technology to create a positive and productive work environment. Today, many forward-thinking companies are integrating hospitality at work programs to enhance the work experience. Hospitality at work programs are gaining traction as more companies recognize the important role they play in fostering and maintaining healthy, collaborative work environments.
Hospitality at Work Delivers Benefits
Studies show that better employee engagement means better company performance. In a Gallup study, companies with the highest levels of employee engagement were22% more profitable and 21% more productive than those with low levels of engagement. Yet according to Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace report, only 33% of employees in the U.S. are engaged in the workplace.
A better workplace experience also means better employee engagement. Engagement goes beyond unlimited PTO and employee recognition programs. It includes physical amenities, access to the outdoors, on-site food services and community building events. These are critical components to achieving better employee engagement. And Miller’s Landing offers these.
The H@W team will deliver superior on-site management combined with hospitality inspired services and programming at this state-of-the-art building. An on-site building host will provide for company, employee and guest needs. But it goes beyond that. H@W will also offer a wide variety of programs including event hosting, health and wellness programs, seasonal activities, volunteering opportunities and donation drives and tenant service coordination.
These services are customized for each H@W managed property and foster a true sense of community and connection within an office building – not just with the office manager or CEO, but with every single person who sets foot in the building. This is critical to creating and maintaining positive, productive work environments that delight your employees and your customers.
Developing a Community at Work
According to the office furniture and design firm Haworth, work hospitality programs are a crucial component to creating positive work environments. In the Haworth blog Spark, they write, “These activities help employees develop a community at work and foster the culture that reflects an organization’s brand. And it’s all part of the new approach to hospitality where we work.”
According to commercial refrigeration firm, Refrigeration Design Technologies (RTD), Americans spend about 90,000 hours, or a third of our lives, at work over the course of a normal career. In their blog post titled What Is Workplace Hospitality and Why You Should Care, RTD emphasizes how important workplace hospitality programs are to employee morale and company performance.
Performance and Service Beyond the Expected
H@W delivers delightful experiences and engaging workplaces to authentically connect people to the places they work. Their talented team of hosts and managers are eager and empowered to make everyone feel valued and vital in the places they work.
Why did Miller’s Landing choose to partner with Hospitality at Work? We believe the H@W website states it best:
“We believe better outcomes begin with better environments. Our commercial, hotel and resort management background has taught us how to create a better workplace experience for tenants. Hospitality at Work offers the highest level of property management combined with hospitality-inspired service and programming. The result? Healthy, engaging workplaces that enhance productivity and employee well-being.”
